Stroll along the Frutillar Bajo waterfront and out to the pier. A calm walk, with views of Llanquihue Lake and the volcanoes — ideal for walking on a leash.

Walk the waterfront, the gardens and the green spaces of Frutillar — or sail on the Bandurria catamaran, with whom Ave Lodge has a partnership.
Always bring them along for walks on the waterfront and green areas.
With more visitors around, try to keep your pet close on busy walks.
The German Colonial Museum and Teatro del Lago generally don't allow pets, except for service dogs.
Not every natural area in the region is pet-friendly — check ahead of each outing, especially for national parks, where entry is often restricted.
Before heading out, check which activities and excursions are genuinely pet friendly — that way your pet enjoys the trip as much as you do, with no surprises.
