A setting of countryside and forest minutes from Frutillar and Llanquihue Lake, with open views of the lake and volcanoes — the quiet is part of the experience too.
We're at km 4.8 of the road to Punta Larga, within the Llanquihue Lake circuit — a step from the Frutillar waterfront and Teatro del Lago, but already on a different rhythm: less noise, more nature.
Access is simple: you can drive straight here, or combine public transport to Frutillar with a private transfer for the last stretch. Two ways to connect with Ruta 5 — toward Frutillar from the north, or toward Totoral from the south — mean getting here doesn't depend on a single route.
If you book direct with Ave Lodge and have a ticket to a show or event at Teatro del Lago, we'll drive you there and back at no extra cost — by car or van, depending on your group size. It's arranged when you book.

Enter through the gate — the access code is given to you on arrival day.
Take the one gravel stretch, suitable for any vehicle, and head up.
Turn right at the first street.
Follow the signs with our logo — a white bird.
Continue along the road to the end, following every curve.
When you reach the meadow, keep to the right: that's the entrance.
The gate code is given to you on the day you arrive.
If you'd rather not drive, these outside services can bring you to the Lodge.
Air connections from Chile and Argentina to Puerto Montt and Bariloche.
